Sarus Exchange Program aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Cultivate mutual understanding and friendship between Vietnamese and Cambodian university students
- Stimulate students’ interest in volunteer work and explore the rewards and challenges this work offers at home and abroad
- Refine students’ communication skills and develop greater awareness about how they fit into complex, multicultural group settings
- Expose students to the culture and history of another country
- Encourage and develop students’ leadership skills
- Improve students’ critical thinking, writing skills, and overall English skills
- Generally promote students’ sense of independence, confidence, and spirit of adventure
