Wesley Hedden – Program Director

Wesley hails from the United States but has been working in Southeast Asia since 2006. He has worked in a variety of teaching and NGO contexts in Cambodia and Vietnam. Wesley’s favorite things about living in Cambodia and Vietnam are the diverse and flavorful cuisines, the enthusiastic and friendly people, and the balanced pace of life. Wesley is thrilled to have the opportunity next year to work with and learn from a group of amazing Cambodian and Vietnamese young people.

 

 

Mourng Kagna – Cambodia Program Facilitator

Kagna’s educational achievements include a Bachelor degree in Tourism Management at Royal University of Phnom Penh in 2007 and English Education at Human Resources University in 2008. In 2003, she also graduated student from Kampong Cham Regional Training Center, majoring in Mathematics and Physics Teacher. In 2007 until now, she has been a Tourism Lecturer at Royal University of Phnom Penh. Since 2008, she has performed as project assistance for International Spanish NGO, ETEA Foundation for Development and Cooperation.

 

Thuy Nguyen – Vietnam Program Facilitator

Thuy obtained a B.A in English Language and Literature Studies at Can Tho University in Southern Vietnam. She used to work for the Department of International Relations of Can Tho University as an Academic Supporter. She has also worked as program assistant of World Learning Organization/SIT-Vietnam program for 2 years. At SIT, she supported the Academic Director in arranging and administering the program’s many components, including orientation, home-stay, and educational excursions. She also assists with general office management. Currently she is am working as an English lecturer at Vietnam- USA Society (VUS).
